Retail Sales Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Customer Service & Sales Representative to join our medical wear and scrub store team. This individual will play a key role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for healthcare professionals while supporting sales growth, inventory management, and social media marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, sales-driven, tech-savvy, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Provide product recommendations based on customer needs, sizing, style and fit, and brand preferences.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Handle customer inquiries, exchanges, returns, and special orders.
• Build relationships with customers and promote customer loyalty.
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals.

Social Media Management

• Create, schedule, and post engaging content on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
• Photograph merchandise, promotions, and new arrivals.
• Respond to messages, comments, and customer inquiries on social media.
• Develop marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive store traffic.
• Monitor social media performance and suggest improvements.

Inventory Management

• Receive and process incoming merchandise shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits.
• Organize stockroom and ensure merchandise is properly displayed.
• Identify fast-moving and low-stock items and communicate reordering needs.
• Assist with merchandising and seasonal product displays.

Store Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Support promotional events, vendor visits, and community outreach activities.
• Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged and priced.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred

• Experience managing business social media accounts.
• Inventory management experience.
• Experience with retail POS systems.
