Job Responsibilities
The Outcomes Analyst II will support the reporting and analytical responsibilities of the Clinical Analytics
group. This position will be responsible for all aspects of employer and clinician reporting and analyses,
from determining data acquisition, query and manipulation to final reporting and comprehensive analysis
of results, trends, and outcomes. Additionally, the Analyst II will also be accountable for working with
technology to access and create reporting from Enterprise Data Warehouse using reporting and
analytical tools.
- Identify opportunities for analyses as related to trends, clinician practice behaviors or diagnosis or
- Provide recommendations on findings to assist management in operational or strategic decision
- Provide top client outcomes presentations to support stewardship efforts
- Generate validation studies from external claims data to support Concentra//'s Value Proposition
- Recommend and implement strategic reporting initiatives and technical plans to support
and implementing a solution for reporting and analyses and defining infrastructure to manage and
access a large data warehouse environment
- Work within EDW using MicroStrategy tool to create reports and analyses

Qualifications
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree
Major: Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT related field or equivalent education and experience
- In lieu of undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of
- Graduate degree is preferred

- Customarily has at least two years of analytical and technical experience in healthcare or related
- Must have good database experience to manipulate large data sets for analyses (applied
database language)
- Must have experience with reporting/data visualization tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI,
- Project management and presentation skills

- Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and
- Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows
- The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications and other applications
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and be flexible when priorities are re-assessed
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
