POSITION TITLE: Summer Intern
Position Summary
This position will be assigned in a research laboratory. Interns receive closely supervised training and are able to develop professional skills. Duties vary based on assigned administrative department or research lab. This is a temporary paid position for a maximum of 90 days and is subject to minimum wage and overtime laws. Students can work up to 40 hours a week.
Responsibilities And Duties
The expected hiring range for this position is $17.75 to $23.47 per hour, commensurate with experience. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements.

- Molecular cloning.
- Human primary cell and cell line culture, preparation of media and reagents.
- Lentivirus production.
- Data analysis and lab notebook documentation.
- The position requires great attention to detail, dexterity of the hands, troubleshooting capability and flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in high school, an associate’s program, a bachelors program or masters program.
