What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coaching: Middle School Football Assistant Coach position at Scripps Middle School?
Position is seasonal; depending on applicant status position may be hired through a third party vendor
- High school diploma required;
- Knowledge of football fundamentals, rules, and player development
- Prior playing and/or coaching experience preferred
- Current CPR, First Aid, and concussion awareness certification
- Completion of coaching certification (e.g., USA Football or National Federation of State High School Associations) preferred or required
- Ability to supervise and motivate middle school student-athletes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Availability for after-school practices and games
- Must pass background check and comply with district policies
