Vascular Sonographer - Per Diem - Encinitas

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas has served North County’s coastal communities since 1978. We’re located at Santa Fe Drive and I-5, within walking distance of a park, fitness center, grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants.

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas’ campus includes Scripps Clinic Encinitas and an outpatient imaging center. We’re home to notable specialty programs including a 24-hour emergency room, accredited stroke care, physical rehabilitation services (including a brain injury day treatment program), our Baby Friendly birthing pavilion and a Level II neonatal intensive care unit.

This is a Casual (Per Diem) position based at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas, offering varied 10-hour shifts.

Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month, including at least 2 weekend shifts. Standard shift hours are 6:00 AM – 4:45 PM or 2:00 PM – 12:45 AM. This role provides coverage for staffing needs such as sick calls, vacations, and other schedule gaps.

Flexibility is essential, including the ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.

Required Qualifications

• RVT or RVS
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience
• Hospital experience
• Completion of formal training/educational program in a school that is accredited by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs)

Position Pay Range: $59.81-$86.71/hour
