The Speech Pathologist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist's respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. They perform competencies as outlined in unit specific competency assessment tools and demonstrate age specific care as established for area and job title.

Position Pay Range: $52.28-$75.96/hour

Requirements
- California Speech Language Pathologist License or Pending CA PT license. License must be in hand by start.
- Certificate of Clin Competency by ASHA
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of Acute Care experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- ICU experience
