RN - Gastroenterology - Torrey Pines Clinic

This is a benefited, full-time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Training will be full time on site for 60-90 days. Hours may vary based on need. Located at the Torrey Pines Clinic in La Jolla (3 days/week) and remote (2 days/week), and will support other sites remotely.

What You'll Do

• Mainly administrative position taking calls and managing patient care through Epic.
• Work with advanced care team handling complex GI cases.
• Ensure Scripps's patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, including:
• compliance with patient assessments and care tasks
• triaging
• completion of clinical procedures
• emergency protocols and medication administration
• Work collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
  

Required Certification/Registration/Education/Experience/Specialized Skills

• CA RN license
• ADN or Nursing Diploma
• BLS required from American Heart Association
  
  

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• 5 years of experience as RN
• Critical care experience
• 1 years RN experience in an outpatient setting
• BSN
• GI and/or hepatology experience
• Epic experience

Position Pay Range: $51.66-$74.92/hour
