RN Ambulatory Surgery (OR) - La Jolla

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla has served the greater San Diego community since 1924. Scripps La Jolla shares a campus with the Barbey Family Emergency and Trauma Center, a Level I Trauma Center, and the renowned Prebys Cardiovascular Institute. We’re also home to notable specialty programs, including cancer care, heart surgery, orthopedic surgery, labor and delivery services (including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit) and a nationally designated Comprehensive Stroke Center.

This is a Full time, benefited OR RN position at the Ambulatory surgery center (Ximed) at La Jolla Memorial hospital. It is a varied shift. M-F with a start time between 0630-1000. No weekends, holidays or call.

Incentives up to $7K for eligible new hires.

Join our Ambulatory Surgery Department team as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. You will:

Provide direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
  
  

Required

• One (1) year of RN experience in the Operating Room
• Current California Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
  
  

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Ambulatory surgery experience
• Charge OR RN experience
• 2 years or more circulating OR experience

Position Pay Range: $59.16-$85.68/hour
