This position includes an Incentive of $15,000 and a Relocation Incentive of $3,000 to eligible new hires.
This is a benefited, full-time position (80 hours per pay period) with 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This Lead IR Tech role requires a rotation of after-hours call coverage, flexibility throughout the week (including weekends and holiday call). The position is located at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla.

Main Responsibilities Include
- Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team.
- Monitor that appropriate equipment is available for procedures
- Train staff and maintain competency level of 2-3 techs
- Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and Pl activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
- Functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the entire Interventional Radiology department.
- Maintains all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times.
- Responsible for charge reconciliation audits for procedures performed in IR department

- CRT
- Fluoro
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology
- Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- ARRT (VI) Vascular Interventional Radiography
- 1-2 years of experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of patient focused care delivery
