Overview:
Scribbles & Drips is seeking motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as Screen Printing Production Workers. We are hiring for full-time positions. Our ideal candidates will have practical experience in screen printing, a strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude. ***Responsibilities***
Screen Printing Assistance:
- Inspect printed materials for quality standards.
- Clean and reclaim screens, including removing ink from screens.
- Clean flood bars and squeegees.
- Use heat press for transfers, names, and numbers as needed.
- Catch and stack shirts at the end of the belt dryer.
- Physically pull shirts from the machine while inspecting for quality.
- Check prints for any defects or misprints.
Quality Control:
- Perform quality control inspections of all printed goods.
- Handle and count items daily to ensure order accuracy.
- Assist with counting in and stacking goods for printing.
General Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform general cleaning tasks, such as trash removal, sweeping, and mopping.
- Maintain shop standards, including cleaning and organizing tools and equipment.
Inventory and Shipping:
- Fold and package orders and manage inventory.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments and stock.
- Follow shop procedures and complete projects independently and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Ability to stand and move for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Prior screen printing or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Able to stand, kneel, bend, and lift 50 lbs. during shift hours without assistance in varying degrees of temperatures.
- Conscientious, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
- English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong work ethic that emphasizes positive attitude, team orientation, ability to multi-task, and punctuality.
**Compensation:**
- Starting at $13-16/hr, with pay based on experience.
- Full-time hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Overtime available during peak seasons.
