NOW HIRING: YOUNG PRESCHOOL TEACHER
Scribbles Center for Learning is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Young Preschool Teacher (the children are 2.5 to 3.5 years old) to join our team!
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–11:00 AM
Pay: $17/hour
Part-Time | 20 hours/week
This position is perfect for someone who loves working with young children and enjoys helping create a fun, nurturing, play-based classroom environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Opening and preparing the classroom each morning
- Welcoming children and families at drop-off
- Working alongside the classroom teacher to implement daily activities and curriculum
- Engaging with children through play, art, music, sensory experiences, and hands-on learning
- Assisting with meals/snacks, diapering/toileting, and other daily routines
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Providing active supervision and helping children build independence and social-emotional skills
- Communicating and working as a team with classroom teachers and administration
