Screws Loose Services is a growing residential handyman and commercial facilities maintenance company serving the Tucson area. We are looking for an experienced Lead Handyman Technician who is dependable, professional, good with customers, and capable of working independently.

The Role

This is a highly customer-facing position. You'll represent our company in customers' homes and businesses and will be responsible for both quality repairs and an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

• General handyman repairs and maintenance
• Drywall, doors, cabinets, flooring, tile, and assembly
• Minor plumbing and electrical repairs within our permitted scope
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing repair issues
• Managing assigned jobs from start to finish
• Communicating clearly with customers about repairs, timelines, and recommendations
• Identifying additional repairs or maintenance customers may need
• Taking before-and-after photos and documenting completed work
• Maintaining clean, professional jobsites
• Occasionally assisting other technicians when needed

What We're Looking For

• Professional handyman, maintenance, remodeling, or construction experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, honest, and accountable
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Basic hand and power tools
• Ability to pass a background check and drug testing when required

You don't need to know how to do everything. We're looking for someone with solid experience, good judgment, and the ability to know when to figure something out and when to ask for help.

Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Normal work is primarily Monday–Friday; however, weekend, overtime, after-hours, and emergency availability is required as needed.
