What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping & Receiving Lead position at Screenco Manufacturing?
Shipping & Warehouse Coordinator
Department: Operations
Reports To: Plant Supervisor & Operations Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Shipping & Warehouse Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations within our manufacturing facility. This is a working position where the successful candidate will spend the majority of their day on the warehouse floor preparing shipments, receiving materials, organizing inventory, and ensuring orders are processed accurately and on schedule.
This is not a traditional supervisory role. While you may coordinate daily activities and receive assistance from a small team (2 indirect reports) when required, you will be responsible for completing much of the work independently. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, takes pride in staying organized, and has a strong sense of urgency to ensure customers receive their orders on time.
As our shipping processes continue to evolve through automation and technology, strong computer skills and experience using ERP systems are essential.
