Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Line Lead to oversee a key shipping line and ensure efficient, accurate daily order fulfillment. This role is primarily office-based but requires close coordination with warehouse operations, carriers, and internal departments. The Shipping Line Lead will manage shipping software, maintain accurate documentation, schedule carriers, and ensure all outbound shipments meet customer and routing requirements.
Compensation
- Overtime: May be required based on shipping needs
- Pay Rate: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily use of shipping software, including preparing all carrier and customer shipping labels
- Print, review, and verify new orders and shipping methods against routing guides
- Schedule carriers and coordinate daily pickups
- Digitally organize and maintain all shipping documentation
- Oversee the image documentation process and verify all shipment photos are properly uploaded prior to dispatch
- Run and maintain the open order report and daily shipping report
- Perform and post monthly inventory counts; support ongoing inventory reporting
- Communicate with internal teams and answer incoming calls related to shipping needs
- Plan next-day shipping requirements to support warehouse and production teams
What We're Looking For
· Experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination (lead experience a plus)
· Forklift experience preferred but not required
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and order processing
· Familiarity with shipping or order management software and basic inventory systems
· Strong communication skills — comfortable coordinating with carriers, internal teams, and supervisors
· Ability to read and follow routing guides, order requirements, and established processes
· Organized and proactive with strong time-management skills
· Comfortable working in an office environment with frequent interaction with warehouse operations
· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally and move between office and warehouse areas
· Reliable transportation and punctual work habits
· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
