Contract Mail Carrier

Screaming Eagle Delivery, Inc. is looking for a dependable Contract Mail Carrier to help keep mail moving smoothly across Watertown, New York. This mail route is Monday through Saturday 3 to 4 hours a week and 40 miles round trip. This role is a great fit if you enjoy working on your own, staying organized, and taking pride in a job done right. You'll be the person making sure mail and related items reach the right place, at the right time, with care and consistency. Salary Range: $18.76 per hour

Hourly Base Salary Based on Experience

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Reliable personal vehicle suitable for mail delivery, 120 cubic in of cargo space

SUV, Van, or Truck with a bedcover/topper

Ability to work independently and follow established delivery routes

Strong time management and punctuality

Ability to lift and carry mail, parcels, and delivery materials as needed

Basic familiarity with GPS, maps, and handheld or mobile delivery tools

Comfort working in changing weather and road conditions

Dependable communication and attention to detail

Prior mail delivery, courier, or logistics experience preferred

Knowledge of the Watertown, New York area preferred

Pick up, sort, and deliver mail and related items along assigned routes

Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule

Follow postal, safety, and route procedures throughout each shift

Maintain clear records of deliveries and any route-related issues

Communicate promptly about delays, address changes, or delivery concerns

Handle mail and parcels with care and professionalism

Provide courteous, consistent service to customers and route locations

Keep your vehicle clean, organized, and ready for daily use

Adapt to route changes and special delivery needs as they come up
