Sushi by Scratch Restaurants is seeking a Bartender who is creative, outgoing, professional, engaging, and willing to learn. Scratch Restaurants are not your traditional restaurant environments, we are a unique fine dining restaurant group, with 10 guests at a time, providing an intimate experience and enjoying some of the best sushi and sake that money can buy
The ideal candidate will be able to execute a high caliber welcome experience to all guests. You will also be required to understand the steps of service and provide support where needed, outside of your responsibilities, to better assist in elevating the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Relations:
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and ensure their comfort throughout their dining experience.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service to enhance their overall satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
Reservations Management:
- Oversee the reservation system to optimize seating arrangements and maintain efficient table turnover.
- Manage reservation inquiries, confirmations, and cancellations, adhering to restaurant policies and procedures.
Strategically allocate seating to accommodate guest preferences, special requests, and VIP clientele.
Team Leadership:
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professionalism among front-of-house staff.
- Provide guidance and support to the GM/host team, ensuring they deliver exceptional service and uphold standards.
- Regularly meeting with the BOH staff to maintain knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, and service protocols.
Special Events and VIP Service:
- Works with the GM to coordinate special events, private dining experiences, and exclusive tastings with precision and attention to detail.
- Extend personalized service to VIP guests, catering to their preferences and exceeding their expectations.
