How this position fits at Scrapbook.com:
As the HR Administrative Assistant, you will work on-site, full-time, at our headquarters in Gilbert, Arizona. You will assist the Human Resources Manager by serving the needs of our 100 employees. Priorities include assisting with recruiting and onboarding efforts, company activities, and benefit eligibility as well as maintaining employee files and other administrative duties. All duties will be done with full integrity and total confidentiality to protect the company and its people.
As the Human Resources Administrative Assistant, you will:
- Maintain employee records and files, including regulatory documentation, unemployment and payroll files
- Prepare new hire packets and onboard new colleagues by familiarizing them with company culture and guidelines and assisting with the completion of their paperwork
- Input new hire information into the payroll system
- Assist with the recruiting and hiring efforts for the warehouse by reviewing resumes and contacting applicants
- Inform colleagues of eligibility for 401k and insurance programs and assist with the completion of paperwork
- Input insurance enrollment information and process COBRA paperwork upon termination
- Coordinate and schedule various meetings, activities and luncheons
- Process I-9 forms, unemployment claims, verifications of employment and other administrative tasks as needed
- Audit insurance invoices against payroll records to ensure accuracy
- Administer the Maricopa County Trip Reduction program and ensure compliance by executing the annual plan and surveys
- Assist with payroll duties as needed
- Maintain communication boards and update daily
- Take on others assignments as needed

Requirements:
- High School Diploma required. Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years experience working in an administrative support role required.
- 1 year experience working in a Human Resources environment preferred.
- Experience working with ADP or other Human Resources Information System (HRIS) preferred.
- Highly computer literate with strong proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Impeccable organizational skills.
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
