Duties/ Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair test equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, documenting all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with teams to support daily production activities and resolve any technical issues.
- Assist engineering teams in the release of new products, fixtures, and modifications to existing products.
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and implement improvements in manufacturing performance and product quality.
- Apply Kaizen and Lean techniques to streamline processes and reduce waste within operations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of automation solutions to enhance production efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, processes, and equipment specifications.
S kills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and their application in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with product development processes and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Demonstrated understanding of Kaizen and Lean manufacturing principles; certification in Lean methodologies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Associate degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related field; bachelor degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electronic systems.
- Experience with automation technologies and their application in a manufacturing context is highly desirable.
- Experience working with quality assurance to drive improvements in manufacturing performance.
