Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform service, preventive maintenance, and repairs on HVAC and Refrigeration systems
- Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify HVAC/Refrigeration system issues and provide effective solutions
- Communicate with customers to explain service needs, offer solutions, and ensure satisfaction with completed work
- Ensure all HVAC/Refrigeration systems are properly calibrated to manufacturer specifications
- Replace faulty parts, components, or systems as required, following industry best practices
- Accurately complete service reports, maintenance logs, and other required documentation
- Adhere to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies
- Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and product updates to provide high-quality service
- Check into customer systems and software, log hours and notes via mobile technology such as iPads, cell phone, etc.

Minimum Requirements
- Degree/Diploma/Certification in HVAC/R
- Universal EPA Certification
- 5-10 years of hands-on HVAC/R commercial service experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer interaction and teamwork
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration principles
- Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems; skilled in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Ability to navigate iPads and mobile technology, or willingness to be trained upon hire
- Ability to assume an on-call rotation schedule
Preferred Skills
- PLT Licensed, or registered unlicensed PLT
- Previous experience working with HVAC software or mobile apps
- Strong customer service skills
- CO2 refrigeration experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to carry and lift heavy equipment (up to 100 pounds)
- Comfortability working in varied environments, i.e. commercial sites, outdoors, etc.
- Ability to work in cramped spaces, on ladders, and in high or tight areas
