What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gang Saw Operator - 3 day weekends! position at SCP Inc.?
SCP Inc is looking for a dependable person to fill a machine operator position on our Wood Gang Saw Line. We are continuing to grow and are looking for hard working people join our team! No experience required!
Responsibilities:
- Work in team to cut up Hardwood cants into pallet stock
- Read tape measure and spec sheets
- Be on your feet for entire shift
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including wearing correct personal protective equipment
- Have a positive attitude and show care for overall quality of products
Previous experience with operating saws and machines and attention to detail on a tape measure is a plus!
This shift runs from 5 AM - 3:30 PM Monday-Thursday. This leaves you with a 3 day weekend or a day to work overtime and still have your weekend free!
