• 214 hospital beds 
• 26 ICU beds 
• ER runs codes 
• Open ICU – Hospitalists admit to ICU, but do not continue care for patients in ICU. Intensivists are primary for Medical patients, but provide consultation services to other specialties 
• EMR: EPIC 
• Staffing Model:  

o   Day: 1 Physician & 1 NPPA 

o   Night: 1 NPPA w/ MD on-call  

Qualifications

• Education: ACNP
• Licensure: LA or willing to obtain LA state license
• Badges: BLS, ACLS

CHRISTUS Highland, in southeast Shreveport, is a general acute care hospital that specializes in cardiac and orthopedic medicine, women\'s services and surgery. The Cancer Center is located on the Highland campus with an additional Cancer Clinic located in Bossier City.
