SCP Health is seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Medical Director to join our dynamic team at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany. - 204 licensed-bed hospital
- Day shift: 1 Hospitalist Physician, 7 a.m.–7 p.m.
- Night shift: 1 NP/PA, 7 p.m.–7 a.m.
- Average 13–16 patients per day, including admissions
- 1–3 daytime admissions on average
- Approximately 2 admissions overnight
- Open ICU with 6 beds
- Hospitalists respond to rapid responses and codes
- Collegial work environment with the Emergency Department managed by SCP Health
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
Qualifications
- Licensure: Virginia License and DEA
- Board Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Skills & Procedures: Vent management required. Intubations preferred.
- Certifications: ACLS
