- Patient Volume: 21,000 annual ED volume
- Specialties: OB/GYN, Imaging, Ultrasound, Cardiology, Orthopedic, General Surgery, Urology, Rehabilitation
- Coverage Model: 24 Hours Physician Coverage – 12 hour shifts; 12 Hours APP Coverage
- Number of Beds: 162 hospital beds, 14 ER beds.
- Acuity: Level IV Trauma Center
- EMR: Medhost
Duties and Responsibilities
· Leads ED operations and provider performance by overseeing recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, quality documentation, and patient satisfaction initiatives to drive clinical and operational excellence.
· Serves as a visible clinical leader and role model, collaborating with hospital administration, nursing, and regional teams to develop a shared vision, foster a culture of safety, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Texas Medical License and DEA
- Board Certification: Board Certified ABEM, ABIM, ABFM
- Badges: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
