Residential Property Manager

Join our team and become a part of a dynamic organization committed to excellence in property management.Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated professional willing to train and learn how to oversee a portfolio of residential properties. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of property management principles, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.For licensed agents, many opportunities to earn commissions exist.Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of assigned residential properties, including maintenance, and tenant relations.Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety, maintenance, and cleanliness standards.Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair work, including scheduling contractors and vendors as needed.Market and advertise available units to attract prospective tenants and ensure maximum occupancy.Screen and approve rental applications in accordance with company policies and fair housing regulations.Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests, providing exceptional customer service at all times.Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and financial statements related to property operations.Cooperatively work in an office environment with others.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred - or equivalent experience.Strong knowledge or willingness to learn landlord-tenant laws, fair housing regulations, and property management best practices.Excellent communication, negotiation, organization and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Driver's license and ability to travel (gas stipend for personal vehicle use).Pass a background check, including criminal.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive health and dental insurance plans.Retirement savings plan with employer match up to 4%.Paid time off and holidays.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter outlining their qualifications and relevant experience to Sergio Herrera.Scout Properties is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
