What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for someone who is organized, curious, collaborative, and comfortable working in a small nonprofit where everyone pitches in.
The ideal candidate will bring some combination of the following:
- At least five years of experience in nonprofit management, arts administration, community development, education, environmental programming, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- A genuine belief in the importance of the arts and the natural environment in building strong communities.
- Experience building relationships, and working collaboratively with people from different organizations and backgrounds.
- Experience with fundraising and/or grant writing and administration.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep track of multiple projects, deadlines, and responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort speaking with community members, donors, Board members, funders, artists, educators, and public officials.
- Good judgment and the ability to solve problems creatively.
- The ability to work independently without losing sight of the importance of collaboration.
- Experience managing a budget or working with financial information.
- Good time-management skills and the ability to adjust when priorities change.
- A commitment to equity, accessibility, inclusion, and treating people with respect.
- An interest in community-based work and community organizing.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Zoom, and common organizational technology.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and donor-management software is helpful.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as the position occasionally requires travel throughout the region.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check due to working with children and youth.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
