Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lube and Oil Technician to join our automotive service team. This role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair, dealership service, or mechanic work, with a strong focus on vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, and alignments. Duties

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections efficiently and accurately
• Conduct wheel alignments and tire services using specialized equipment and power tools
• Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including brake repairs, fluid replacements, and light mechanical repairs
• Diagnose common automotive issues utilizing diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge
• Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, or replace vehicle components
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
• Ensure all work complies with dealership standards and safety regulations
• Assist in maintaining inventory of parts and supplies needed for daily operations
  
  

Skills

• Proven dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform diagnostics and repairs effectively
• Experience with automotive diagnostics, oil changes, alignments, tire service, and general vehicle maintenance
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment required for automotive service
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
• Knowledge of automotive service procedures and safety standards necessary for this role
• Sales aptitude is a plus for recommending additional services or products to customers
