Exceptional Children's Teacher (Self-Contained Behavior Classroom)
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Exempt Position; Full-time; 10-month position per school year
QUALIFICATIONS: NC Educator License in Special Education: General Curriculum and/or Adapted Curriculum required; successful experience in working with students on behavior management preferred.
DUTIES: Responsible for instructional program; provide special education services for students with disabilities; maintain exceptional children student records to meet local/state
requirements and federal mandates of IDEA; normal duties of a classroom teacher and other duties assigned by principal and/or superintendent.
