Facilities Manager
Scotts Bluff County is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Facilities Manager. This position is a hands-on position responsible for the planning, organizing, supervising and coordinating of all maintenance, repair, alteration and construction activities including prioritizing, scheduling and assigning of all work relating to facilities. A considerable knowledge of building codes, safety requirements, HVAC systems, general concrete work, painting, turf care, plumbing, electrical, general cleaning practices, computer experience including knowledge of Microsoft office products for budget preparation and monitoring along with communication is required. Minimum requirements: graduation from high school or equivalent, with vocational/technical school level coursework or training in HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry trades and experience in performing general facilities skills. Knowledge of Procurement procedures and the RFP process is helpful.
Must be able to pass criminal background check. his position is available for Veteran’s Preference. Scotts Bluff County is an EEO/AA employer.
