CLASSROOM TEACHER Primary function: Provides an educational program for students, to assist in other school activities as assigned, to maintain control, preserve suitable learning conditions, and evaluate student progress. Directly responsible to: Principal
Requirements / Qualifications
California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential desirable Interns will be considered. Intern salary: $47,749 TK Teacher Candidates must meet the below requirements or ability to obtain waiver - Hold a B.A/B.S. degree from a regionally accredited institution - Hold a valid CA teaching credential, Intern Credential, a Pre-Intern Certificate, or an Emergency Permit (or be in the process of securing one) - Hold Early Childhood Teaching Certificate/Permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing - Completed at least 24 units of college coursework in early childhood education, child development, or both To apply a complete application packet must include:
- Copy of Transcript
- Credential Copy
- English Learner Authorization (if not embedded in credential)
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Reference (Must submit three letters of reference)
- Resume
