Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Conduct plumbing inspections using cameras and other diagnostic tools to identify issues within water systems and drainage lines
- Perform drain cleaning, pipe threading, and system maintenance to prevent future problems
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, materials, and personnel to job sites
- Collaborate with construction teams on remodeling projects, ensuring plumbing work aligns with project specifications
- Adhere to local building codes and safety regulations during all phases of work while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Utilize welding skills when necessary for pipe fabrication or repair tasks
- Assist with HVAC system components related to plumbing when required
- Engage in heavy lifting and physical tasks such as carpentry or assembly during complex installations or remodels
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation or repair projects
- Hands-on experience with residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Knowledge of plumbing inspection cameras, schematics, blueprints reading, and interpreting technical drawings
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and heavy machinery safely and effectively
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and plumbing regulations
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of water systems, HVAC components, schematics, and system maintenance procedures
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material estimates
- Prior experience operating company vehicles in a safe manner for job site transportation
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients while providing professional solutions
- Additional handyman experience or remodeling background is a plus for versatile project support
