Position Overview
The Tractor Salesperson is responsible for helping customers find the right equipment for their property or business. This role requires a strong product knowledge base, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to guide buyers through an honest, simple, and enjoyable sales experience. This position works closely with the Sales Manager, Yard/Logistics teams, Finance, Marketing, Parts, and Service teams to ensure smooth deal flow from start to finish.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Promptly responding to web leads/phone calls/walk-in customers
- Helping customers find and purchase the right tractor for their needs
- Walking customers through tractor & attachment functions and features
- Customer follow up & after sale support
- Invoicing & taking payments
- Coordinating pick-ups & deliveries
- Working shows, fairs & events as needed
Requirements:
- Team Player
- Commitment to industry leading customer service
- Computer/cell phone proficiency (very important)
- Top notch communication & organizational skills
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
- Tractor industry experience or product knowledge from personal use preferred but not required
