Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Technician to join our commercial automotive service team. Duties
- Install, repair, and replace tires using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Perform wheel alignments and balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Conduct oil changes, brake inspections, and other routine maintenance services
- Diagnose semi truck automotive issues related to tires, suspension, and mechanical systems
- Assist customers with tire selection, sales, and related vehicle maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards
- Use commercial semi truck automotive diagnostics tools to identify underlying mechanical problems
- Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential issues before they become major repairs
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or automotive commercial semi truck repair experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
- Experience in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and service technician roles
- Knowledge of tire service procedures, including mounting, balancing, and alignment
- Ability to lift heavy tires or equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of automotive systems such as brakes, suspension, and engines
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred
