Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic painting team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure high-quality results that meet client specifications.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, or other hand tools
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete tasks like caulking, plastering, trim carpentry, or fixture installation
- Conduct surface preparation including masonry work like stucco or concrete finishing when required for renovation projects
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly throughout each project
Skills
- Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers, as well as power tools including airless paint sprayers when necessary
- Ability to perform plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and concrete finishing as part of comprehensive renovation efforts
- Knowledge of industrial painting techniques for large-scale or specialized environments
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience with fixture installation, restoration projects, frame carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall repair, and maintenance person tasks to support diverse job requirements is a plus
- Understanding of safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- 5 years experience preferred

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
