Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure high standards of sanitation and cleanliness
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as needed
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and dust-free, including countertops, furniture, and fixtures
- Manage light cooking or meal prep for clients if required (nice-to-have skill)
- Provide excellent customer service by respecting clients’ preferences and maintaining professionalism at all times
- Follow safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures to promote a clean and healthy environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to supervisors
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Experience with floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation techniques is highly desirable
- Background in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is a plus
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with laundry processes and custodial responsibilities enhances suitability for the role
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Previous experience in housekeeper roles or custodial work demonstrates reliability and attention to detail
