Join Scott Roundy the Pool Guy's growing team as we have an immediate opening for a motivated self-starter to provide pool maintenance in the Charleston Tri-County area. You'll be responsible for maintaining a route of residential pools, ensuring they stay beautiful while providing superb customer service to a high-end customer base. Applicants must have a clean driving record and be able to pass both a drug check and a background check.
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time Year-round. Non-seasonal.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Self-Employment Status (1099): As a self-employed contractor, you will be responsible for managing your own taxes. You will be provided with a 1099 for tax purposes.
Schedule: 30 – 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning pools and their filters, checking and balancing water chemistry, and inspecting pool equipment. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Keep accurate daily records of maintenance activities via Skimmer app. Maintain supply of inventory levels.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of pool maintenance (cleaning pools, testing water, safe handling of chemicals) preferred, but not required. A truck to transport chemicals and equipment is necessary for your Independent Contractor status. Ability to lift 40 pounds and work in all weather conditions. Clean driving record. Proven record of strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Must be reliable, coachable, and independent. Ability to communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers.
