Job Description

Scott Petroleum is seeking a CSR – (Customer Service Representative) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking to gain experience in a customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Responsibilities:

• Scanning all documents and files
• Taking payments and balancing cash drawer and daily work.
• Data Entry
• Building and updating reports.
• Dispatch delivery orders to drivers.
• Monitor Customer Tanks that may need a fill.
• Fill propane bottles on the bottle dispenser station.

2. Customer Service:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Provide information about products and promotions.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally and efficiently.
• Promote a positive customer service experience with a customer-centric approach.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.
• Help monitor office inventory levels and report low-stock items to the supervisor.
• Arrange and display merchandise to attract customer attention.

3. Safety and Compliance:

• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and store security.

Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills to include MS Office Suite…emphasis on Excel.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, occasional overtime as needed.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
