Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanic role based in Houston, TX. The Mechanic will perform routine and complex maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on cranes and other heavy equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting inspections, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic systems, and completing repair work to minimize equipment downtime. The role also involves documenting work performed, collaborating with service advisors and parts personnel, and communicating clearly with supervisors and customers about equipment status. Qualifications

- Hands-on experience working with heavy equipment in an industrial or construction environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
- Commitment to safety protocols and OSHA compliance in shop and field settings.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across service and operations teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in diesel, heavy equipment, or mechanical technology is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, equipment manufacturer certifications) are a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy components and work in varying outdoor and shop conditions.
