Painter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for prepping job sites for paint, applying paint, coatings, finishing concrete floors, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Our goal is to transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure quality craftsmanship on every project. This position offers an opportunity to work on new construction, renovations, and commercial sites. You will be working in a team-based setting, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and repairing as needed to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, or other hand tools.
• Use hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, scrapers, and brushes to complete detailed trim carpentry, plastering, or masonry work when required.
• Perform construction painting on various surfaces including drywall, stucco, concrete, masonry walls, and metal structures in residential or commercial settings.
• Execute renovation projects by restoring or updating existing surfaces through sanding, patching, caulking, or restoration techniques.
• Operate power tools such as sanders, drills, and spray guns (including airless paint sprayers) safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly throughout the project lifecycle.
• Arrive on time to each job location
• Maintain a professional appearance including the use of appropriate language, clothing, and no recreational drug use during job hours

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential painting as well as commercial or industrial painting preferred.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools like caulking guns, putty knives, scrapers; power tools including spray guns and drills; and specialized equipment such as scaffolding or lifts.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to surface area or material quantities.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction painting including proper handling of hazardous materials when applicable.
• Must have a consistent means of transportation

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
