We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a proven background delivering multi-site retail, restaurant, and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has managed projects for national retail and restaurant brands while overseeing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships from preconstruction through closeout.
Projects may include new construction, remodels, renovations, tenant improvements, and rollouts for national chains.
Preferred Project Experience
Experience managing projects for one or more of the following types of clients is highly preferred:
- Quick Service Restaurants (QSR): Panda Express, McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, Wendy's, Burger King, Starbucks, Dunkin', Chipotle
- Retail Chains: Tractor Supply Co., Walmart, Target, Costco, Home Depot, Lowe's, Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Burlington, Academy Sports Outdoors
- Convenience/Fuel: 7-Eleven, Circle K, RaceTrac, Wawa, QuikTrip
- Grocery: Publix, Aldi, Kroger, Food Lion, Sprouts, Whole Foods
- Pharmacy/Retail: CVS, Walgreens
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from award through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, and owners.
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
- Review contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Conduct regular site visits and provide project updates to leadership.
- Work closely with Superintendents to maintain quality and schedule expectations.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager.
- Experience with national retail, restaurant, grocery, or commercial projects.
- Multi-site rollout or program management experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and scheduling.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction software.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Travel
- Willingness to travel to active project sites throughout the East Coast
