Retail Customer Service Specialist

Job Summary

We have an upscale, high fashion boutique in beautiful Sedona Arizona and are seeking a customer service professional capable of delivering the highest one-on-one sales experience for each of our visitors. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing professional customer service and fostering an exceptional customer experience. Strong merchandising skills and familiarity with upscale, elevated fashion brands are a plus.

This position will primarily work in the Scot Grace boutique but will also offer support at The Hike House as well.

This position is DOE with a wage range starting at $22/HR plus commission. Weekend availability required.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Our unique layout of stores requires greeting and directing customers as they enter the hall access to all three locations.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
• Utilize inventory management system to assist in stock management.
• Maintain knowledge of new product features and brands.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members, management, buyers, and owners daily to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Create and provide content for Social Media postings.
• Monitor and update our local customer log and communicate new arrivals and exciting updates to this group.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a boutique or high end outdoor retailer required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Familiarity with collaboration sales techniques to enhance the shopping experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated and proactive in driving sales initiatives.
• Strong attendance history with previous employers a plus.

Experience:

• Fashion retail: 3 years (Required)
