We work closely with our customers to provide them with the best quality products in the industries there in.
We are seeking a Buyer/Planner who will be responsible for coordinating activities with Account managers, planning, production control, and engineering to purchase inventory in the most cost effective and timely manner. We are looking for a someone with excellent communication skills, and can work in a team environment. This position once trained can work from home 1 day a week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Processing Syteline MRP data and order materials timely for current and future orders.
. Calling ahead on open orders and emailing suppliers for status updates.
· Following up on purchase orders, quotes for production material.
· Managing day-to-day inventory planning for respective products.
· Tracking work order shortages and expediting materials.
· Rescheduling and Expediting production and service material PO’s to meet customer delivery goals
· Initiating and following through on any supplier date changes and updating account managers.
· Work with your team to resolve issues and supporting each other to help find materials that don’t meet the customer’s schedule.
· Communicating effectively and professionally with suppliers daily.
· Support all above functions in either our Salem and Mexico facility.
Qualifications:
· 2 years of relevant experience.
· Demonstrated skills and experience in purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory management and supplier relationships.
· Good communication skills
· Demonstrates effective time management skills and is well organized
· Ability to work in an office environment with co-workers in a professional manner.
· Syteline software experience a plus

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
