What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Delivery Driver position at Scott Electric Company?
South Main Trucking, an affiliate of Scott Electric Company, has a current opening at our Springfield, OH, branch for a Full-Time CDL Delivery Driver. M-F hours vary 5 am- 5 pm (8 hr. shifts) OT.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate box trucks for deliveries
- Load and unload materials from trucks
- Deliver goods to various sites in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- Ability to regularly lift 50-75 lbs
- Prior experience in van/box truck operation
- Forklift operation experience is a plus
- Electrical product knowledge preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving history
- Minimum age of 21 (insurance requirement)
- Must pass a DOT Physical
- Must be able to unload the assigned truck at delivery sites
Must submit a background check and drug testing
