Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)--Scott Dentistry | Lubbock, TX
Scott Dentistry is looking for a friendly and professional Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our established, patient-centered dental practice in Lubbock. This position is critical to the flow of patient care and includes assisting in hygiene, sterilization, and much more. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication & organization skills, be exceptional at time management, have a desire to serve others, have the drive to solve problems, possess a curiosity for learning, and have the ability to prioritize and multi-task. This role requires a maturity that fosters trust and peace amongst everyone in the practice. Responsibilities
- Assist the hygienist (primary role) and dentist (secondary role) during a variety of general dental procedures
- Support the practice by greeting/seating and dismissing patients
- Take digital radiographs; intraoral, panoramic and CBCT
- Take intraoral photographs
- Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
- Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Ensure a positive patient experience
Qualifications
- Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required
- Current X-ray Certification required
- CPR/BLS Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Nitrous Oxide certification preferred
- Proficient in use of dental software (EagleSoft & Dexis preferred)
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset
