What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Receptionist - Physical Therapy Clinic position at Scott County Physical Therapy?
**THIS IS NOT A SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY**
Full-time Front Office Assistants/Receptionists will be expected to be the face of our clinic that patient's will be greeted with when they first enter our doors. Applicant must be professional with all patient's and co-workers. Office/Receptionist/Administrative experience is REQUIRED!
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting patients upon arrivals and departures.
- Scheduling multiple patient appointment types across 6 different therapist schedules.
- Answering phones.
- Verifying and consulting patients with insurance benefits.
- Collecting patient payments.
- Submitting authorizations to insurance companies for approval.
- Tracking patient documents (plan of cares, progress notes, medical records requests, etc.)
- Helping the office manager & therapists with other miscellaneous administrative tasks.
Specific work schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm, 3 days a week, 8am-5pm and 8am-1pm, 1 day a week, with an hour lunch break.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
