The Personal Trainer provides an enjoyable, high quality and safe exercise prescription to YMCA members and program participants.
- Conduct fitness assessments to understand members' current fitness levels.
- Adaptability to tailor training programs for various fitness levels and preferences.
- Provide clear and concise instructions on exercise techniques. Demonstrate proper form and posture to minimize the risk of injury.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about fitness and helping others reach their goals.
- Patience and empathy to understand clients' individual challenges.
- Must obtain or posses a Personal Training Certification through nationally recognized organization (AFAA, ACE, NSCA, NASM, or ACSM Personal Training certification(s) .
