We are seeking a motivated Suit Generation Clerk to join our Plano, TX-based team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Process the receipt of legal document into the Firm’s case management system
- Generate documentation for legal review
- Scan and copy documents as needed
- Compute, record, and proofread data and other information such as records or reports
- Prepare legal documents and suit packages for shipping.
- Contact courts via phone and email to obtain legal documentation or status information
- All other responsibilities as assigned by leadership
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- At least one year administrative or clerical experience where use of Adobe and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point was required
- Ability to operate basic office equipment such as copier, printer, scanner, and computer; proficient with internet research
- Ability to work efficiently with excellent attention to detail in a high-volume fast paced environment
- Ability to quickly and accurately enter data into case management systems
- Ability to work individually and as part of a coordinated team
- Organized, detail oriented, and deadline driven
- Effective oral and written communication skills with knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation usage
- Ability to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it
- Ability to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and professional competencies
