What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Prepper / Polisher position at Scotsman's Auto Body, Inc.?
We are excited to announce a job opening in our shop staff. Here we strive to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations for quality repairs and an excellent customer experience. Scotsman’s Auto Body Inc. works with all insurance companies and many direct repair programs from the auto manufacturers.
One of our entry-level roles in need of filling is our paint prepper and polishing department. As part of the paint department you are working with the painter to properly prepare the final repair surface. While the prepper may be an entry level role, a paint job is only as good as the prep work for it!
When not prepping panels, there are many vehicles that will require cleaning: exterior and interior washing, detailing and polishing. We use a variety of products and equipment.
Training will be provided but experience is helpful.
As part of the repair shop staff, some of the job requirements would include:
Some automotive knowledge
Must have the ability to take direction and follow instructions verbal/written/printed
Treat our customers vehicles with care and respect
Neat and orderly
Valid driver’s license
Working hours:
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Saturday 8am – 12pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
