Mission

The P4 panel bender operator will demonstrate safe behaviors and maintain a safe work environment. The role includes identifying incoming materials, reading part prints, taking quality measures, and executing production schedules for the parts to be formed at the machine.

Principle Activities

Equipment set up and operation of the Salvagnini P4 panel bender.

Verify steel material types and availability.

Must know all equipment functions:

• • • Step-by-step, automatic, and manual modes
    • Inline and cut operations
    • Loading, centering, and removing of parts
    • CLA operations

Initiate jobs and monitor job status

Financial/Risk Control

To conduct oneself in accordance with all company policies at all times.

Skills and Knowledge

• Able to run P4 software and controls.
  • Software includes:
    • Scan
    • Monitor
    • Easy Data
• Able to use all safety doors properly.
• Must know all functions of Control switches.
• Must know how to manually move scissor table.
• Must know how to create jobs file (group jobs together).
• Able to perform operator PM to include lubrication of blank holders, and rotator clamp replacements
• Able to manually load and unload all production parts in and out of machine.
• Able to make minor programming adjustments.
• Able to troubleshoot program problems and machine errors.
• Able to read prints and verify/measure parts are formed correctly and to print dimensions and all quality criteria.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to bend and lift as needed. Standing/sitting up to 8 hours.

Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
