Position Summary
The Physician & APP Compensation and Contract Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of compensation, fair market value (FMV), contracting, and data analytics for employed physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs). This role ensures regulatory compliance, standardization of compensation processes, accuracy of compensation recommendations, and timely completion of annual and periodic reviews. The manager collaborates closely with system partners, including Atrium Compensation, Human Resources, Legal, operational leadership, and Executive Director of Physician Services to ensure alignment with system models and strategic objectives.
Reports to Executive Director of Physician Services and Network Operations
Essential Job Responsibilities
• Maintain and manage all FMV files for employed physicians and APPs.
• Ensure completion of annual compensation reviews according to system timelines.
• Collaborate with Atrium Compensation to ensure alignment with system models.
• Perform ad‑hoc FMV analyses.
• Track system APPs and incentive plans.
• Create bi‑monthly additional pay payouts.
• Oversee quarterly and biannual physician true‑ups.
• Prepare trending data reports and quarterly strategic compensation analyses.
• Produce provider offer letters and draft agreements.
• Complete compliance review checklists.
• Load provider agreements into contracting systems.
• Update and ensure availability of physician and APP compensation policies.
• Submit change‑of‑status forms for salary and FTE changes.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in related field of experience in provider compensation, healthcare finance, contracting, or network operations.
• Strong knowledge of FMV, wRVU production, and provider compensation models.
• Experience with benchmarking tools and contracting systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
