What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Accountant position at Scotland Memorial Hospital?
Under the direction of the Director of Accounting and Controller. The Staff Accountant is primarily responsible for monthly contractual adjustments/bad debts, preparation of monthly journal entries, assisting in preparing the annual hospital budget, grant reporting, account analysis, assistance with preparation of financial statements (including accrual entries), Payroll and A/P check reconciliation, Fixed Asset Management, charge master control, backup to the Accounting Manager for Statistics reporting, and other responsibilities for Scotland Health Care System.
Qualifications: Associates Degree in Business required, preferable with an emphasis in Accounting. Two years of experience preferred. Healthcare experience preferred.

Schedule: Full-Time, Day, 8:00am - 5:00pm
